Author Guidelines for Book Proposal Submission

We welcome proposals for scholarly books, edited volumes, and thematic series that contribute meaningfully to academic discourse. To ensure a smooth evaluation and publishing process, please prepare your proposal with the following components:

1. Book Overview

  • Proposed Title
  • Scope and Rationale: Describe the central theme, objectives, and scholarly relevance.
  • Unique Contribution: Explain how your book differs from existing literature and what gap it fills.

2. Target Audience

  • Define the primary readership (e.g., researchers, educators, professionals, students).
  • Indicate the academic disciplines or professional sectors your book addresses.

3. Table of Contents

  • Provide a detailed chapter breakdown with brief summaries or abstracts for each.
  • For edited volumes, include contributor names, affiliations, and chapter titles (if available).

4. Technical Details

  • Estimated Word Count
  • Use of Figures, Tables, or Images: Indicate any visual content and copyright status.
  • Expected Completion Date
  • Digital Features: Mention any multimedia or online components, if applicable.

5. Author Information

  • Full name, institutional affiliation, and contact details.
  • Brief academic biography and relevant publications.
  • ORCID iD (if available)

6. Competing Titles

  • List 3–5 comparable books with brief notes on how your work differs or complements them.

7. Supporting Materials

  • Optional: Sample chapter, introduction, or previously published work.
  • Optional: Endorsements or letters of intent from contributors (for edited volumes).

8. Ethical Compliance

  • Confirm that the manuscript will adhere to Probecell Press’s Publication Ethics Statement.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest or funding sources.
